Baotou KONRE Pharma Glass Packaging Co.,Ltd is one of the largest pharmaceutical glass bottle production base in western China. In September 2002, approved of Baotou Rare Earth High-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee, KONRE Pharma Glass Packaging Co.,ltd was formally established. With a total investment of 182 million CNY, the company has an annual output of 2 billion pharmaceutical glass bottles, 177 million food bottles and 130 million cosmetic bottles, which has been listed as the key project of 2003 by Baotou Municipal People's Government. The company has a registered capital of 140 million CNY, covers an area of 85,000 square meters and a building area of 63,000 square meters. It is wholly owned by Shandong Pharmaceutical Glass Co.,ltd, a listed company. The company's project construction uses advanced network engineering construction technology and other scientific management methods to accelerate the speed of project construction. The project was put into operation in the same year, and was awarded as 2003 excellent construction project by the Management Committee of High-tech Zone.

In line with the principle of high standard and high starting point, the company has invested in the most advanced equipment and facilities in China. There are 72 square meters of fully insulated natural gas glass kiln, computer automatic batching line two and other corresponding auxiliary facilities, initially formed large-scale production. In order to further improve the stability of products, the company has developed a product automatic inspection and packaging pipeline with independent intellectual property rights. At the end of 2005, the company took the lead in the national industry to realize the small bottle product automatic inspection and packaging assembly line, becoming the first breakthrough in the domestic industry, the degree of automation among the best. The quality indicators of the products meet or exceed the requirements of ISO and JIS standards, and reach the international level. In 2006, the company and its products were both awarded the "Excellent Enterprise" and "Famous and Excellent Product" in the national Daily glass industry, and the honorary titles of "Famous Trademark" and "Famous Product" in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
